Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. Since 2016, Collins has joined ESPN. She's the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since the age of nine. This skill helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was employed as a reporter by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Also, she was often required to act as an anchor for sports and weather. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's affiliate station in Dallas. She was also given more duties. She also wrote articles to the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Also, she produced Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she acted as anchor. Then, she became the sports host on the morning show on Despierta America Deportes. It was the same role for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents hail native to Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. Then, shortly afterward they separated, and in 1995 Fabio Fajardo remarried. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took an entire week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. At the time of her senior year at high school, but knowing exactly what she wanted to do for her life, Antonietta went to the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. The result was that she was a fan of the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the University for a master's degree of media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed the WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for many years, became a friend. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
